Title of Position:Instructional Coach
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of NYS Learning Standards and state assessments
Experience working as an instructional coach or teacher leader (required)
Experience with implementing effective instructional coaching cycles
Strong depth of understanding of the Science of Reading, Science of Mathematics, Explicit Instruction, and Visible Learning
Possesses a demonstrated vision for improving high-quality instruction and teaching
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others
Trained in Kagan engagement structures
Strong knowledge of high impact instructional practices
Empathetic listener, communicative, approachable
Strong lesson planning, instructional execution and demonstrated evidence of high student achievement
Self-starter, motivated to support teachers in their classrooms
Strong desire to help teachers build capacity and independence
Commitment to equity and inclusion of all members of the school community
Commitment to implementing the district's Instructional Priorities and the Instructional Focus Plan
Requirements:NY state certification in teaching
Position Available:ASAP
Salary:$47,821 - $60,014 (depending on college/graduate credits)
