Benefits and Payroll Manager

Our client owns and operates nine unique full-service restaurants across Orlando, FL, and Alexandria, VA. Guided by a hyper-local strategy, they leverage strong community connections, a loyal guest following, and dedicated team members to create exceptional dining experiences. POSITION OVERVIEW: As the connection point between their restaurants, employees, leadership team, and OPOC, you'll keep the people side of the business running smoothly. You'll bring accuracy, urgency, organization, and exceptional follow-through to payroll and benefits across multiple restaurant locations – ensuring employees are paid correctly, questions are answered, and critical information gets where it needs to go.

Salary: $ 75,000 – $ 80,000 + annual bonus program

Work Type: Hybrid, 3 days in office/2 days remote

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Payroll Oversight
• Compliance & Reporting

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, finance, economics, business, or a related field, or an SHRM certification.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience within a benefits or HR department, preferably supporting a multi-unit, high-volume hospitality or restaurant organization.
• Extensive knowledge of the benefits function, including worker's compensation.
• Knowledge of the payroll function (preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes).
• Restaurant or hospitality experience is required.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Must be able to work well under pressure and be self-motivated.
• Must be dependable, reliable, and driven with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work with highly sensitive and confidential information and material.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficient with HRIS and Payroll software.
